The mindfulness relaxation moment series is geared toward helping individuals or groups cultivate mindfulness and relaxation practices in their daily lives. The purpose of this series is to share different tools that can be used and implemented in capturing mindfulness relaxation strategies in the moment.
Countdown is about intentionally, strategically, and consciously becoming more aware of your ability to be more relaxed and reduce resistance as you count down connecting with being present in the moment. It is about practicing paying attention to your mind-body connection. By focusing on the count, you start to recognize your ability to shift the tension, resistance, and stress in your mind and body. By focusing on the numbers and speaking you are becoming more relaxed allowing yourself to naturally start to relax. The strategies are meant to be practiced consistently and repetitiously to get the best results and outcomes. They can be tailored to meet your individual needs or goals.
