The mindfulness relaxation moment series is geared toward helping individuals or groups cultivate mindfulness and relaxation practices in their daily lives. The purpose of this series is to share different tools that can be used and implemented in capturing mindfulness relaxation strategies in the moment.

 

Body scanning is about intentionally and strategically becoming more aware, in tune, and in alignment with your breathing which helps connect with being present in the moment as you scan your body. It is about practicing paying attention to your mind-body connection and communication. This brings something that happens unconsciously to your conscious awareness purposefully. By focusing on your breath as you scan your body you become more in tune and in alignment with your body as it naturally starts to relax and communicate with you such as pain, tension, healing, and relaxation. The strategies are meant to be practiced consistently and repetitiously to get the best results and outcomes. They can be tailored to meet your individual needs or goals.
